Karym Salamatov is Managing Director of Bond Stone International Law Firm’s Bishkek office and the firm’s lead practitioner in Kyrgyzstan. He brings over ten years of practical experience as a counsel and senior associate at leading law firms in the country, advising international financial institutions, development agencies, and private investors on corporate law, complex transactions, infrastructure projects, and regulatory matters in Kyrgyzstan.
Karym advises international financial institutions, development agencies, and private investors on cross-border transactions, public-private partnership projects, and regulatory matters. He represents clients in high-stakes litigation before Kyrgyz courts and in international arbitration proceedings. He has contributed to projects supported by the IFC, World Bank, ADB, KfW Development Bank, and the EBRD, including the structuring of foreign financing arrangements for infrastructure and development projects in Kyrgyzstan.
Karym is a Licensed Attorney of the Kyrgyz Republic, admitted to practise before all courts of the Kyrgyz Republic. He holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Laws from Kyrgyz State Law University.
