BOND STONE managing partner successfully completed Pre-Masters of Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology.

BOND STONE Law Firm Managing Partner and Founder Sanat Ablakov has successfully completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology — one of the leading ABA-accredited law schools in the United States.
The LL.M. programme, with a focus on international and comparative law, builds on Sanat’s prior completion of the School of American Law pre-master programme, also conducted in partnership with Chicago-Kent. The programme gave Sanat direct exposure to U.S. legal practice, procedure, and professional standards at the highest level.
Sanat is admitted to practice as a legal adviser at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and holds bar admissions in New York and California. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association, and the Kazakhstan Bar Association.
With over 25 years of legal experience spanning prosecutorial work, senior in-house roles, and international private practice, Sanat leads Bond Stone’s practices in Energy & Natural Resources, FinTech, M&A, and Dispute Resolution. He is individually recognised by Legal 500 and IFLR1000.
Bond Stone is an international law firm ranked in Legal 500, IFLR1000, and Asia Law Profiles, advising international investors on cross-border transactions in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
