Alel Aliasheva

Partner
Corporate Law · Tax · Restructuring · Bankruptcy · Dispute Resolution
Alel Aliasheva is a Partner at Bond Stone and one of Kazakhstan’s most experienced practitioners in corporate restructuring, bankruptcy proceedings, and complex commercial litigation. Practising since 2002, she brings over two decades of courtroom and transaction experience across the full range of corporate stress scenarios — debt restructuring negotiations, insolvency proceedings, asset recovery, creditor enforcement, and the corporate and tax advisory work that runs alongside them.
Her litigation background is particularly deep in the construction and real estate sector — she has handled some of Kazakhstan’s most complex construction disputes, bringing the same analytical rigour she applies to due diligence to the preparation and execution of contested court proceedings. Clients describe her as methodical, thorough, and difficult to surprise — qualities that matter in bankruptcy and restructuring work where the outcome is rarely predictable at the outset.
Alel holds an LL.M. from the University of Kent — one of the UK’s leading universities for international commercial law — complementing her KazGYU legal foundation with a comparative law perspective that is directly relevant to Kazakhstan’s evolving corporate and insolvency framework. She is a native Kazakh and Russian speaker and works in English.
