Alexandr Satidi is a Partner at Bond Stone, heading the firm’s M&A, Commercial Law, and Antitrust practice. With over 20 years in the Kazakhstani legal market, his practice is built around one discipline: getting complex transactions across the line. He advises domestic and international investors on cross-border M&A, commercial contract structuring, real estate and franchising, antitrust filings, and due diligence for major investment projects in Kazakhstan.
Before joining Bond Stone, Alexandr headed legal departments at leading Kazakhstan companies in the construction and retail sectors — giving him the operational fluency to translate legal risk into commercial language that clients actually use to make decisions. He led due diligence on the parent companies and subsidiaries of national companies and has advised on one of the largest single foreign corporate investments in Kazakhstan, managing a legal workstream involving more than 140 international partners simultaneously.
Alexandr holds an LL.M. from the University of Dundee — one of the UK’s leading law schools for natural resources and energy law — which informs his approach to complex commercial transactions in Kazakhstan’s resource-intensive investment environment. He is fully proficient in Russian and highly fluent in English.
