Assadullah Muradov

Managing Director — Tashkent Office

Assadullah Muradov is Managing Director of Bond Stone’s Tashkent office. He is one of Uzbekistan’s most experienced practitioners in corporate law, EPC and FIDIC contracts, construction law, oil and gas advisory, and project development. A member of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Uzbekistan since 2009 and a graduate of IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, Assadullah advises both Uzbek and international clients across Uzbekistan’s most active investment sectors.

Assadullah’s practice spans the full corporate and commercial legal lifecycle for international investors in Uzbekistan — from entity formation and licensing through M&A, construction and infrastructure project support, EPC contract negotiation, oil and gas sector advisory, tax structuring, and dispute resolution. He has particular depth in advising on production-sharing agreements, Clean Development Mechanism agreements, Asian Development Bank and World Bank-standard procurement and construction contracts, and the privatisation of state-owned property in Uzbekistan.

Assadullah leads Bond Stone’s Tashkent client relationships and handles all Uzbek law mandates directly — providing the on-the-ground partner presence that complex cross-border transactions in Uzbekistan require. His dual expertise in Uzbek civil law and FIDIC/EPC international standards makes him a trusted adviser to energy, infrastructure, and oil and gas companies operating in Uzbekistan.

What Clients Say

“Assadullah has an exceptional command of Uzbekistan’s construction regulatory framework. On a complex EPC project, he navigated licensing requirements and contractor issues with a speed and precision that kept the project on schedule. We would not undertake a construction mandate in Uzbekistan without him.”

International EPC contractor — infrastructure project, Uzbekistan

“What sets Assadullah apart is his ability to operate at the intersection of Uzbek civil law and international contract standards. He understands FIDIC, he understands how Uzbek courts and regulators interpret it, and he bridges that gap seamlessly. That combination is rare in this market.”

Legal counsel — European energy company, Uzbekistan operations

“Assadullah advised us on our production-sharing agreement and subsequent corporate compliance for several years. His knowledge of the oil and gas regulatory environment in Uzbekistan is deep and current, and his engagement with state counterparties is professional and effective.”
